This weekend we drove to the Gold Gate National Recreational Area and hiked the trail from Rodeo Beach to Hill 88.
Due to the proximity to the Pacific Ocean, the weather here is a lot cooler than the Little Yosemite Area we hiked last weekend.
We parked our car at the beach, and took the winding mountain roads on foot, all the way up to the peak named Hill 88.
Prior to our visit, we did see on the Google Maps that there are some abandoned military structures on the top of the hill. However, they are a lot more astonishing to see in person.
